Zwickau
Holiday Programme: Glitter & Gold
What makes a stone a treasure, and why are these discoveries so significant for Zwickau?
This workshop focuses on sparkling minerals and their unique charm. Following a brief introduction through the mineralogical collection, we will craft our own "treasure stone". Using plaster or modelling clay, small objects are created and refined with metallic paints and colourful highlights. It's all about experimenting with surfaces, shine, and texture.
Recommended for ages 6 and up (accompanied by an adult)
With curator Sven Neuhaus and museum educator Anne Krzyminiewski
Duration: 2 hours
Limited capacity. Advance booking requested
