"Jutta Müller's World"
Figure skating coach Jutta Müller (1928–2023) lived in a prefabricated high-rise apartment on Goetheplatz from the early 1960s until shortly before her death. At the request of the descendants of figure skating coach Jutta Müller (1928–2023) and in keeping with the spirit of the devoted Chemnitz and Karl-Marx-Stadt resident, the Schloßbergmuseum acquired her estate into its municipal history collections. The exhibition presents parts of it for the first time, including sports memorabilia, personal items, and numerous photographs tracing the life path of the skating icon—from early childhood to the pinnacle of international sports. At the center of the exhibition is a reconstruction of the legendary "Blue Salon"—the family's "best parlor," furnished with pieces that Jutta Müller's parents acquired in 1930.
