Zwickau Castle Christmas - The Family Christmas

Many guests particularly appreciate the coziness, family-friendly atmosphere, and the impressive lighting effects in and around Osterstein Castle. More than forty regional traders and show craftsmen enliven the rustic market landscape with their homegrown products and exhibits.

Visiting the Christmas market at Osterstein Castle once again offers many free attractions this year, including live music, a toboggan run, a children's carousel, fairy-tale cinema, castle tours, baking stick bread over a campfire, cuddly alpacas, fairy-tale storytelling, a story carver, a Santa Claus hour, and much more.

This year, the Castle Christmas focuses more than ever on dwell time and comfort, providing new sheltered spaces for visitors.

Guests can sit in three large, heated tipi tents and enjoy the delicacies of the bacaru tipi bar. In a large, rustic GRILL KOTA and around a large covered fire pit, you can sit sheltered on winter furs and linger cozily in front of a fire basket while town guides or a storyteller drop by.
