Public Guided Tour on Reformation Day

On the occasion of the guided tour on October 31, Max Pechstein's printmaking exploration of the Lord's Prayer takes center stage. In the MaxRAUM of the KUNSTSAMMLUNGEN ZWICKAU, the original printing blocks as well as the print portfolio "The Lord's Prayer" will be presented, opening up a special perspective on the connection between religious text and artistic visual language. This reveals how Pechstein translated central motifs of the Christian prayer into an intense, expressive form, thereby intertwining faith and art.
