Tina - The Rock Legend
The unique tribute event “Tina – The Rock Legend” brings Tina Turner’s fiery stage show back to life.
The bar is set high for this very special tribute show, which is a bow to the legendary pop diva Tina Turner – but TINA – THE ROCK LEGEND aims to, and will, do justice to this world star of rock and soul:
Reset Production – one of the few German show promoters to provide all elements of major family entertainment from a single source, from planning and production to ticketing – is sending a top-class ensemble of first-rate singers, musicians, and dancers on a tour of Germany in autumn 2021 with the rock legend’s greatest hits. TINA – THE ROCK LEGEND offers the opportunity to look back on the life and career of this powerhouse with the distinctive voice and the unmistakable lion's mane.
Even if Tina Turner’s early years alongside her husband Ike remain unforgettable – born Anna Mae Bullock in 1939, she only achieved her worldwide success and status as an absolute female superstar after breaking free from this difficult relationship. Her incomparable solo career spawned hits such as “Simply The Best”, “Private Dancer”, “Typical Male”, and the iconic James Bond theme song “Golden Eye”, which also feature prominently in TINA – THE ROCK LEGEND. More than 180 million records sold, numerous Grammys, and gold and platinum awards made her the biggest female star in the rock business in the 80s and 90s and a role model for countless successors.
Not only her singing, but also her provocative, sexy outfits and captivating stage presence are fondly remembered by generations of fans. For this reason, the newly designed show TINA – THE ROCK LEGEND pays great attention to detail, both musically and visually, offering the highest quality in terms of sound and lighting.
TINA – THE ROCK LEGEND: This is top-tier entertainment, spirited and passionate – just as Tina Turner herself always was on stage.
