Concert: Die Grenzgänger

What kind of culture is needed in these times? Is the goal, like the orchestra once on the Titanic, to keep spirits high until the ship goes down? Or do we remember—as if using a compass in stormy seas—key milestones of our history through songs and poems, daring to think and dream new utopias?
With cello, accordion, and two guitars, "Die Grenzgänger" create a stirring, contemporary sound, blending songs from the gutter with forgotten gems of literary salons and theater stages into a unique musical style somewhere between Schubert and Tom Waits, Bertolt Brecht & Bob Marley.
