Concert: Alex Diehl - Solo

Alex Diehl can tell you a thing or two about what it means to become lighter. The singer currently takes to the stage weighing 40 kilos less than he did just last year. Yet the past few years have brought a newfound lightness to Alex Diehl and his music not just physically, but thematically as well. A 1,000-kilometer move from the mountains to the coast, a new love, and a child's heart suddenly beating in harmony with his own. Courage is rewarded when you have it and dare to take a leap; courage means change – and you can hear it in Alex Diehl's new music. The Hamburg transplant has always lived his authentic and mostly autobiographical songs and lyrics.
Known primarily for songs such as "Nur ein Lied" or "In meiner Seele", the singer has rediscovered a side of his music that had long been hidden from himself – bringing new stories full of hope, courage, and forgiveness. Alex Diehl is a name well established over a 15-year stage career. Anyone attending an Alex Diehl concert will not only hear songs from his first five albums and EPs, but will experience an evening full of honest emotions brought to life through authentic stories. Live music wrapped in a deeply touching, powerful vocal performance. Becoming lighter starts in the soul. Alex Diehl has found his lightness – will you find
yours too?
