Christmas Exhibition with Oriental and Ore Mountain Christmas Mountain
At the most reflective time of the year, our house transforms into a true winter wonderland.
On the ground floor, visitors can discover a very special treasure: the “Großrückerswalder Weihnachtsberg” is impressively staged in its own dedicated room. This artistic ensemble is framed by atmospheric winter paintings by Werdau painter Erich Müglitz (1895–1975), which capture the ambiance of winters past in evocative scenes.
In the second room, parts of a very rare oriental Christmas mountain (Weihnachtsberg) are presented. Only a few museums possess pieces of this kind.
