Cabaret: Simone Solga

Germany: everyday cinema of epic proportions, unfortunately of the disaster-movie kind. At least with high entertainment value. Incompetence, megalomania, double standards – in German politics, there's something for every taste. A great thinker once said: "We can do this." What came of it: they're finishing us off. A country in the endgame against itself. In these strange times, the soul needs hope and reliability. That's why Simone Solga guarantees, just like that great thinker once did: "You know me!" For her new program, she gets right out of her legendary YouTube bed to delight the audience with her familiar and beloved ruthlessness. Simone Solga takes what is currently the greatest risk on stage: she tells it like it is. And, appropriately for the gravity of the situation, she does so with unrestrained cheerfulness and audacity. Simone Solga goes right where it hurts. At first out of despair, but once she gets going, it only hurts from laughing. Treat yourself to this rare pleasure. And together with Simone Solga, tell those in power: "You know me. And you can kiss my ass."
"(...) Huge applause for this fresh, turbulent and witty program – the 'Saxon one-woman powerhouse' has got what it takes, bringing intellect, skill, wit, charm, and professionalism to the table, singing, performing, and enchanting." Nürnberger Nachrichten
