Fall Break Program: Spooky Circus Show
You transform into terrifying, spooky figures. Guided by professional mentors, the various workshop groups embark on a five-day journey into worlds no human has ever seen before, staged in an age-appropriate way through artistic and acrobatic performances. The workshops include:
– Acrobatics – Balance, strength, and cool moves
– Juggling – Skill with style
– Dramaturgy – Produce your own show
We want to host a 5-day circus theater workshop week during the fall break for children and teenagers. The workshop
combines elements of circus and theater, offering a creative way to express oneself and develop skills. Evolution
can be spooky too. Participants transform into terrifying, spooky figures.
Guided by professional mentors, the various workshop groups embark on a five-day journey into worlds no human has ever seen before, staged in an age-appropriate way through artistic and acrobatic performances.
Content:
– Recognizing connections and using them to find your own inner balance
– Conscious engagement with the elements
– Circus techniques related to the elements and connecting colors and stones to the elements
– Physical training combined with a creative and artistic exploration of an object, partner, or one's own body
More about the workshops: Acrobatics – In the acrobatics workshop, we focus on body control and agility.
Juggling – In the juggling workshop, we focus on the art of movement. Participants learn ball juggling and
scarf juggling (depending on age), the fundamentals of juggling, and special skills with the diabolo and/or devil stick.
Dramaturgy – This workshop is a special feature of the circus project for anyone interested in what happens backstage and between
scenes. Together with the participants, we share exciting tips and tricks for "between the scenes." We explain how
to approach a play starting from the script through discussions with the director and producers, brainstorm ideas for
transitions, draft plans, develop hosting segments and acting scenes, and guide and rehearse their execution.
At the end of the week, there will be a premiere. To get there, guests will walk through a spooky maze.
Target audience: Children and teenagers, age group 7–15 years, Catering: Lunch and drinks included, What to bring: Comfortable/old
clothes (spare clothes if necessary), water bottle, small snacks
