Philharmonic PLUS 1 – Red, White, and Gold Christmas Sing-Along with FSV Zwickau e. V.

When terrace chants from FSV Zwickau meet the grand sound of a full orchestra and the "Neue Welt" is bathed in red, white, and gold, it is time for an extraordinary Christmas experience: At the Red, White, and Gold Christmas Sing-Along, a varied program awaits you blending stadium atmosphere, classical music, Christmas, and pop, presented by Theater Plauen-Zwickau in cooperation with FSV Zwickau and BSV Sachsen Zwickau. A programmatic highlight: FSV's E5 Kurvenchor terrace choir and the Clara-Schumann-Philharmoniker take the stage together with soloists. But even for those stadium visitors who don't know every lyric by heart, there will be plenty of opportunities to sing along and enjoy—because the audience is right in the heart of the action! Famous Christmas carols will be sung together with soloists, accompanied by a grand orchestra in a festive atmosphere, while football anthems such as "You’ll Never Walk Alone" and "We Are the Champions" meet the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Giuseppe Verdi, and Mariah Carey. Also featured as soloists are Elisabeth Birgmeier and Gabriel Wernick. Musical direction is by Leo Siberski. Whether you are a die-hard football or handball fan, a classical music lover, or simply in the holiday spirit: this evening brings everyone together. So, don your red and white, warm up your vocal cords, and sing along! A festive home game for the entire city.
