Romantic Advent Market

A visit to Rochsburg Castle is worthwhile at any time of year, but especially just before Christmas. That is when the annual Advent market takes place in the castle, enchanting guests of all ages with its unique charm. On Saturday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, the festively decorated Rochsburg Castle invites visitors to its Advent market inside the museum. No matter how much it storms or snows outside, within the castle walls visitors can explore a wide variety of stalls, indulge in the scent of punch, and immerse themselves completely in Christmas anticipation – cozy atmosphere guaranteed. The Advent market spans two floors of the museum. Vendors offer diverse products ranging from ceramics and jewelry to wood carvings, Christmas decorations, honey, and jam. You are sure to find a fitting Christmas gift for your loved ones here. Younger guests can even craft gifts for mom and dad or grandma and grandpa in a pixie workshop, or try their hand at candle dipping, ceramic painting, and crafting Moravian stars. With a little luck, you might even meet Santa Claus and his angel. There will also be a few surprises for regular visitors of the Rochsburg Advent market: alongside many new stalls, there is a colorful program for the whole family. Plenty of food and drinks will be provided both outdoors and indoors.
