The eight-cylinder: an engine that embodies power and strength, lending its owner an unmistakable, exclusive prestige.
Exactly 100 years ago, Horch presented Germany's first mass-produced eight-cylinder engine with the Type 303 at the Berlin Motor Show. The "Horch 8" became a legendary symbol of quality, reliability, and elegance. In our major special exhibition, we showcase 13 exclusive automobiles—some regarded as true legends—and retrace the successful journey of the "Horch 8" from the Roaring Twenties right through to the 1980s, concluding with a still relatively young classic: the Audi V8 quattro.
