Special Guided Tour: "A Journey into the Former Youth Hostel of Rochsburg Castle"

First founded as a small accommodation facility in 1924, the premises were officially opened as a youth hostel in 1932. From then on, the youth hostel existed almost continuously until it was forced to close in 1998. During these 66 years, various parts were rebuilt, expanded, and modernized. Many children and young people from all across the country spent an unforgettable time here on the rocky spur high above the Mulde River—memories they still look back on fondly as adults today. The castle would love to share these stories from the past with interested guests of all ages. Michael Kreskowsky invites you on an entertaining tour through the castle and the small exhibition "Memories of the Heinrich Heine Youth Hostel at Rochsburg Castle".
