A fashion mannequin and a painting from an exhibition are visible.
Heimat- und Verkehrsverein "Rochlitzer Muldental" e. V., Nicky Wehr, Schloss Rochsburg · CC-BY
Reflecting the spirit of collector August Ohm (*1943), himself a painter and draftsman, it brings together paintings, drawings, sculpture, furniture, and textiles, allowing both similar and contrasting exhibits from different eras to engage in dialogue.
The selection brings together exceptional pieces that convey knowledge of art and cultural history, as well as fascinating insights into the history of style and fashion. The spectrum ranges from the late Middle Ages through the Renaissance and Baroque to the present day. Visitors can also discover works by famous artists such as Lucas Cranach the Elder, Sandro Botticelli, and Franz von Lenbach, as well as Andy Warhol and costumes by Yves Saint Laurent.
The exhibition can be visited during regular opening hours and is included in the museum admission fee.
