On November 13, 2026, the family leisure park will once again open its gates for the Winter Magic event. This year, visitors can look forward to a brand-new highlight: fascinating light sculptures take explorers big and small on an illuminated journey through Europe.
Instead of ordinary winter lighting, Sonnenlandpark is transformed into a magical world of wonder. Impressive light installations make famous European landmarks and motifs shine in a truly special glow, inviting families to embark on a journey of discovery together. An evening visit to the park becomes a trip full of wonder, radiant moments, and shared experiences – all without having to pack a suitcase.
Yet Winter Magic offers so much more: in a wintry atmosphere, families can spend quality time together, embark on adventures, and soak in the special mood at Sonnenlandpark. Whether it's illuminated winter attractions like the synthetic ice rink and wave swinger, daytime encounters with animals in the wildlife park, or games and fun in the indoor play world – there is plenty to experience even during the cold season. The evening highlights are the grand laser shows by the lake and from the illuminated adventure pyramid.
Opening Hours Winter Season 2026/2027:
November 13, 2026 to February 21, 2027, every Thursday through Sunday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and open daily on public holidays and school vacations. Closed on Dec 24 / Dec 31 / Jan 11–20, 2027.
